Be that piece of ash floating forever on the infinitesimal sea of conformity, for the driftwood overcomes the water and knows the poles, the temperates, and the secrets of Poseidon. The driftwood rides into an undiscovered lagoon, beguiled by the sea’s desperate attempts to carve and mutilate its outwardly existence. As the tide goes out, the driftwood lies on the beach and watches the sun set over that self-perpetuating sea. The sea cannot see its vastness for the sea cannot see perspective. Without its perspective, the driftwood would be the sea. The sea knows not of the islands or the lagoons; it only knows of the deltas and the straits. It will forever be this way because the sea cannot see past its currents and tides. The driftwood is enlightened to the sea’s existence while the sea will be forever ignorant until it can climb onto shore to watch the sunset. But the tide now gropes in the darkness and the ash returns to the sea more willfully than ever, for the driftwood will forever overcome the sea. |

This year has been all about pushing myself to the limit. Defining potential. With such a ideal in sight, I've been only sleeping when my eyes refuse to focus and when lengths of time dissappear. I've also come to the conclusion that the hardest step in transcendence, the concept onto which I am forever dedicated, is following the path to your heart even when it is that very same path followed by many others.
Valentines day has passed and it seems as though the entire culture has been unveiled. The initial confomity to the holiday and to the sport has now worn off. Now it is only fights, breakups, and divorces. All the relationships I see seem to be falling into turmoil. Well, as they all shake hands and say 'good game,' the next round begins...

This is the best sensation manifested. Sex nor happiness could never compare. It’s the immersion in some ambiguous, paradoxical set of thoughts that you drown yourself in and couldn’t be happier dying in such a state. Suffocating your body yet fertilizing your mind. So go, you weighted thinker. Have your synthesized euphoria. Inject it into your veins or breathe it into your lungs, but I know a high which your low can never begin to fathom. |

An update, of sorts.
I didn’t have time to read or write for about a week and I almost went insane. Shaking and bulging, my head almost popped. The moral of this story being that there’s never time for anything. You have to make time for all that you love.
I taught myself how to dream again. The problem being that each of my dreams are more morbid and grotesque than the last, yet I continue to induce them. It truely is amazing what an an unbridled mind can do. |

Knowledge is structured in consciousness. The process of education takes place in the field of consciousness; the prerequisite to complete education is therefore the full development of consciousness -- enlightenment. Knowledge is not the basis of enlightenment, enlightenment is the basis of knowledge. - Maharishi Mahesh Yogi |

Each individual has their own set of standards that they choose to hold themselves to. Their own is, of course, by no means referring to their own possession. Each person has the tendency to develop a self-image of defying those around him or her. Their standards are in fact their possession in the sense that they alone think the way everyone else does. The standards set and accepted by the herd are those that we all so deviously accept. This is based on the fact that each of these weighted thinkers possess no original thought. Individuals are corrupted by their inability to think for themselves. It is the herd, clique, or whatever grouping one chains themselves onto that devises these standards. Well, in reality, the herd cannot think independently either. They are nothing more than slaves to their traditions, and standards which evolved (if such a word is appropriate) without any means of interruption or interpretation by the herd. The herd just walks blind and deaf to their surroundings, bumping and tripping their way through society until the first, lowest and simplest, means of survival is stumbled over and lethargically accepted. The herd’s own adoptions of these standards are impressed upon any man that crosses their path. These herds enslave others, in their own mind that is, to the morals and ethics that enslave them. These standards are taken for granted as an acceptable means of thinking, if it can be called thinking. The broad scope of true thinking is henceforth disregarded. That which is taken for granted is that which is not pondered. Thus, these standards restrict our thoughts and clip our wings. So why are we so bigoted and ready to accept these standards? Out of naiveté or ignorance? Once judgment is revoked, acceptance ensues. Upon acceptance there is either adoption or rejection. |

Life is intertwined with the illusions that make it more palatable. Those with the "herd mentality," those who accept drugs, sex, and alcohol as a panacea for their inability to cope with reality and the path they choose to follow, are those who must be overcome. The life without illusion is the life of the "free spirit." Transcendence of any form of illusion that becomes necessary to manifest is a requirement. Walking in the mall, you pass that so-called friend of yours walking with a group of his so-called friends. He acknowledges your presence and you his. The reality of the situation is that you mean nothing to him. He wants nothing more than to appear well known to his group of so-called friends. His so-called friends means nothing to him and he means nothing to his so-called friends. His interaction with you serves no further purpose than to increase his acceptance in the “herd,” which his acceptance there of means nothing to anybody other than himself. His delusions are the direct result of his enslavement to his ego. The transcendence of these lesser illusions will bring a new perspective on your existence, thus the illusions that have been magnifying long before your awakening will surface. |

It truely is a fasinating sensation to be excited, giddy almost, for no reason other than the anticipation of what is to come. |
